I’m Cristina (you can call me Cris), founder of Matos Bookkeeping Solutions. Years ago, after leaving my full-time job to care for my daughter, our household dropped to a single income. We weren’t living extravagantly, but somehow every month felt tight. I’d check the credit card and wonder, “Where is it all going?”
One day, out of frustration, I opened up Excel and decided to track every penny to figure out where our money was going. The results were eye-opening:

- We had no budget and no plan
- Our money was in charge—not us
After this deep dive into our family finances, I created my own money-tracking system, started budgeting weekly, and within six months, I went from feeling broke to feeling in control.
That experience changed my life—and became the foundation of how I help others today.
I’m a wife, mom, and spreadsheet enthusiast based in Odessa, Florida. I’m passionate about clean data, strong coffee, and helping good people feel more confident and in control of their money. I’m also bilingual and happy to support clients in both English and Brazilian Portuguese.
